SO WHAT IS YARN SHOP DAY?

If you’re a keen knitter or crocheter, be sure to put this date in your diary! Yarn Shop Day is the biggest retailer event in the knitting and crochet industry. On Saturday 14th November, yarn shops across the UK will be inviting customers along for a special day of fibre-tastic fun. Usually held in the spring, this year's event will have an exciting festive flavour.

Whilst some things will be a little different due to essential safety measures, it will be an unmissable pre-Christmas event for anyone who loves yarn!

Launched in 2014 by Let’s Knit magazine, along with its sister title LGC Knitting & Crochet, Yarn Shop Day is an annual campaign that aims to help bricks-and-mortar stores by encouraging yarn lovers to visit their local store and discover the great things it can offer, while at the same time enjoying a day of treats, fun and meeting like-minded crafters!
